Part of ISN (integrated supply network), which is part of Apex, owned by Bain, led by Mitt and his magic underpants.
Their tools are ChiCom, not great, not bad.

Only one I've had is a memory saver cord that didn't work. Their stuff looks decent for what it is but I wouldn't buy unless they were in a store & I could check them out first.

Are you sure ISN is owned by Apex?
ISN is a huge independent tool distributor supply company that supplies mobile and other tool sellers. They sell just about every non truck brand. I'm pretty sure Apex doesn't own them.:dunno:

I have a few socket sets and a wrench set. IMO they are pretty good. Not super chrome or long pattern, but solid, good tools.

I have some of their sockets to fill out my socket holders ( OCD )

Anyway they have held up well, haven't broken/split any yet.....unlike some of craftsman sockets. Got mine from tooltopia.

Has any one used their tools? What is your opinion?
I went to a local dealer who had advertised SK Tools, when I stopped in he told me he no longer dealt with SK and offered me his new line of K Tools. I am not a pro mechanic by any means but they left a lot to be desired, especially the ratchets and screwdrivers. Just my opinion.

My local Napa handles K Tool tools. Some stuff seems okay, other items I don't think the quality is that good. Some stuff used to be US made. I'm not sure if much is now.

They were acquired by ISN a couple years ago. We had a local K-tool branch in Rochester NY. After ISN took over, the place turned into more of a mail-order (internet) warehouse and stopped their counter service. ISN shut it down end of November.
Store started out as A.L. Falk, was acquired by K-Tool, which became part of Preferred Tool, which was swallowed up by ISN, which is owned, along with APEX, by Bain Capital.
That company survived WW 2, Korea, Vietnam, Jimmy Carter, Reaganomics, not one but 2 Bushes, and ISN killed it.
