KAL Model L-10 (help?)

I have a KAL L-10 timing light and something on it burned out. Smells pretty terrible. Any idea on parts source for this?

I had one of those years ago. Had it repaired twice. The third time, about 20 years ago, I was told it was no longer repairable. Nice light though. Hope you find someone that can help you.

Thanks man! Yeah it's cool because it looks like a ray gun. I'm not having any luck. Back in the drawer for another 20 years.

If something fried and smells, you should be able to locate it by eye or nose. There is not much in there that is not generic and pretty cheap. The problem is trouble shooting via the internet is a bigger hurdle.

Here is my old one. It still worked the last time I used it. I suggest that you look for a used one, maybe on eBay.
