KAL Sockets

I have a few made in Japan KAL sockets.

I know Japanese sockets at one time were regarded the same as Chinese ones . . . . The socket looks pretty new. Is this a good quality Japanese socket or a bad one?

KAL-Japan was an attempt by KAL-USA (they both have identical part numbers) to offshore production.
While, IMO, the KAL-USA tools are better made, the KAL-Japan tools are still of pretty decent quality.
