KAL tools - collectors?

Anyone collect KAL tools? Either US, or Japan manufactured? I'm wondering how widespread their distribution was, and how long some have owned them for.

I've got a 1/2" rat in both a US and Japan origin along with some Japan deep sockets.

I'd be surprised if there was much of a collector base. Kal was pretty low on the food chain, and most every parts store had them one time or another.

Idk. They seem to be abundant at LA flea markets.
