eBaying for a specialty wrench set that I'll seldom use came accross a Kal Tools set.

Not familiar with them at all. Comparitive quality-wise w/say Snap-On at the top, Craftsman at the bottom of the useable range where do they fall?

TIA

I would give them a 7
Our wrench / sockets sets in the military were KAL ( 1984 )
We abused them pretty hard as you can imagine, and they held up well.
I would say the sockets are defiantly better than craftsman.
Wrench quality somewhere around a proto or older blackhawk.

Years ago I would buy Kal tools for the shop. This included timming lights, compression testers and meters. I purchased them from APC (Auto Parts Club) which was located in San Diego. If they are same quality then you won't be disapointed.

Thanks, JASTECH

Just for clarification, there's the Kal Equip diagnostic tools and there is the Kal hand tools. Two different company's, but they are both good. I suspect here in this thread we are talking about the hand tool company?
