Katy Texas Workshop/Theater in progress...

Hi everyone, just found this site and it's already been a huge inspiration for helping me get my **** in gear. I've got 20x24' detached garage. Here's a pano pic of the current state of my garage. Very messy and loaded with ****. Looking in through the door, the left half is my work/tinker area and the right half is my home theater.

The screen is 120" with Yamaha AVR and JBL surround with a 15" sub for explosions. Pretty much the entire floor is covered in foam tiles yellow/blue, great for standing and walking around on or sitting while working on stuff.

I've just taken down a huge shelf system that was hanging off one lone ceiling joist and bending the hell out of it. So everything that was up on shelves is currently.....everywhere else. I'm prepping to put up dry wall in the next couple weeks and will post better pics as I go along.

Here's a shot of the screen, LCR and subs (there's a 12 and 15 but only the 15 is hooked up). Since taking this shot I've moved the receiver, xbox 360 and cable box into a proper cabinet and off of the Omaha Steaks coolers.

Quite a home theater ya got there! What do you tinker with? Looks like a nice space already and it'll be cool to see where drywall takes you! Good luck.

Thanks! I like to build speakers and mess around with LED lighting systems. A recent project was putting lights in my 2.5yr old's power wheel truck.
