Looks like I might be getting some Wera screwdrivers.

They also have a great deal on the Felo woodie 5 pack. I think they are the best screwdrivers on the market at any price.

I bought a set of these a couple months ago. I like them, but I want a set of plastic/rubber handle screwdrivers. I purchased a single Wiha microfinish and a single Wera Kraftform plus that I used a bit recently. I seem to get better grip and better finger (fast) turning from the Wera.

Agreed BUT... the wood handles look like the screwdrivers that everyone's Grandpa's had and we couldn't wait to get our hands on those newfangled plastic handle models!

I just recently bought into the Elora wood handle sets (thanks to a post here I spent a good bunch of money). They look to be the exact same as the Felos, minus the makers name.

Unless Elora has a new OEM arrangement with Felo and replaced previous models, they’re not. The handle shape is quite different, for one thing. Elora has generally sourced screwdrivers from a different German company, though that may be changing. For example, their newer precision screwdrivers look like the Slovenian ones Gedore and Hazet sell.

Right you are. My handles are shaped differently than the Felo's. I just looked at the blades, and the ends, not paying attention to the profile of the wood. I have a new set of Felo's heading my way soon. All in all, it was a pretty "inexpensive" lesson in paying attention. Thanks for opening my eyes!

Did anyone else pick up the Gedore PW? That's one tool I definitely don't need! Not that it stopped me...I guess someone needs to compare Knipex, VBW, and Gedore versions.

I believe German tool reviews is planning on doing a comparison video. I picked up a pair on the promo excited to get my hands on them.

Sent from my iPad using The Garage Journal mobile app

I will have all three (VBW in all three sizes, Knipex 180 and 250, just bought Gedore 250 through this sale) so I’ll write something here eventually too.

I picked up the Wiha screwdriver set and a few other odds and ends to hit free shipping. I did a comparison a while back (German screwdriver comparison), and I reach for the Wiha's the most. I had planned on picking up a set so this deal was perfect! I basically got the precision set for free. If you haven't ordered from KCtoolco their shipping and communication is great. A couple small items were on B/O, but I am in no rush.
