KD 3/8 RHFT flex production variation

Some production variations in the KD flex ratchets. Both have the same model number but one is full polish and thinner handle and different stamping and different flex end more V shaped. The other one is standard pebble finish, the KD logo is embossed and the flex end is U shaped. Personal opinion is the full polish is the newer production, just a guess. Any thoughts GJ?

Never seen a polished KD round head, fine tooth, quick release ratchet. All of mine are satin.

Me either, interesting production variation. The full polish is nice. Wish is was more common.
