KD 3751 a good caliper?

Hi all I purchased a KD 3751 calories from cripe. https://www.ebay.com/itm/331872486291 Is this ok for measuring rotor run out and woodworking(measuring planed lumber, measuring tongues eye). Any other uses for it besides car rotors and woodworking?

Probably overkill for most woodworking. Should be fine for measuring rotor thickness. Rotor runout is typically measured with a dial indicator.

More than good enough for what you want. Like notlob says, wrong tool for measuring runout.
