Keen Kutter drill?

I bought a 1/4" Keen Kutter electric drill today at an estate sale. Never seen one before. Works great. Probably the best $2 I've ever spent. I know people collect all things KK. How would I date it? I can't post a pic right now.

The Keen Kutter hatchet I bought for $1.00 was a bargain.

^ that is very curious. look at the photo of the ad I posted above - Keen Kutter being sold by the E.C. Simmons Company - a wholesale distributor.

it would appear Shapleigh Hardware was a wholesale distributor, not a manufacturer:

I'm pretty sure KK was started by Simmons, then later sold to Shapleigh.
