My new 24x32 garage is under construction. The floor has been poured. The walls are up. The trusses are on and have been sheathed. Still needs windows, doors, shingles, siding, and electrical.
I understand I should not try to apply any coating to the floor for at least one month after it has been poured. This is going to be hard. Unless I want to move in and then move back out when it's time for the floor, I can't arrange toolboxes. I can't do automotive work that will be dirty or I'll have to prep the floor later. I basically have to look at my new garage and not be able to use it until the 30 days has elapsed.
I had all but decided I was going to use porcelain tile, but now I'm reconsidering. The Rust bullet and other coatings seem like great options and I think they're cheaper as well.
How have others handled this?
