That's the type of opener I meant, but the only picture I found had the different style. I still use a church key on new beer cans to vent them when I pour it into a glass.
Used many back in the day. Was given one I had never seen before recently, it was a red round plastic one with a spout tah covered the whole top of the can, also two full cans of Pennzoil. Gave the cans to friends and tossed the opener. I just saw a round bottle of Castrol on my shelf the other day.
