Looking for suggestions on how to keep out critters and bugs between r panel and gutter on a metal building.

Missed out ordering and outside closures that would be difficult to install after the fact due to the stickie side.

Thought about using ss wool that is used for insect control, not sure how it would affect the R panel.

Suggestions?
Cheers.

Does that gap function as your attic venting as well? That's an odd situation, at least it would be here in MO. Vented soffit, with the gutters attached to the fascia board, is the norm around here.

Your picture doesn't match your description.
You will be able to un scew the bottom row of screws and sneak in the proper closure strip. If you're panels and the type in the picture, you might need to take the screws out on the next row up.
It's not a terrible job if you have some scaffolding. I would not attempt it from the roof, that's impossible.
You can order them without the glue but I've done it with the glue and the hardest part really is scaffolding it if you don't have any.

Thanks, no attic venting, metal building is all open inside with 6" vinyl reinforced insulation in roof and 4" in walls.

Allows a 2 post lift height requirements.

Bite the bullet and remove the gutter and install the closure. With a lift or scaffolding it really isn't that hard.

Thanks, I have some closures leftover from another project, will see how bad it is to install on the leanto side.

Building is 40' wide with 20' has a lean to, the other half has gutters as above.
