Kellogg compressor 321TV

To anyone that can help, I have a Kellogg compressor (321TV) that I got from my wife's Grandpa. I went to do initial startup (for me anyway) and it was spraying oil everywhere. I discovered that one of the four intercooler connectors cracked It has NPT on one side and the other side is mistaken for 45° JIC but it is not. It looks more like a dome, if you know what I'm talking about and can help, Please do, TIA.

I would look for a Parker Hannifin (/SP?) dealer in your area. A local Hydraulic Shop might be able to help you with your problem.

Im looking at an exploded parts diagram and I don't see a reason for oil to be anywhere near the air intercooler lines. I would look further into the compressor head before spending any money on it.

Kelloggs do not have pressurized lubrication systems so spraying oil is a real puzzler. Unless there is a lot of oil carryover, it's hard to see how oil would be coming out of the intercooler. The parts list only shows that as an "intercooler connector" with no description and I have never disconnected the intercooler from my 331 to see, but it looks like some type of flare to a pipe thread. I have seen spherical fittings like that on a dry sump oil system, but I do not know what standard they were.

Now that you mention it, I recognize a welding gas regulator does have similar fittings. I had not considered that option because the pressures are so much lower for an air compressor.
