I have the opportunity to pick up an old Kellogg compressor/pump but I can’t seem to find any info about this specific one. It doesn’t really look similar even to any of the stuff I can find. I did see one that somewhat resembles it listed as a 261. Any info at all would be great! Thanks.

This is all they sent me so far. I asked for a few better pictures. But the person is slow to respond.

Well I’ve now added the books tab to my searches! I’ve never done that. That gave me more than I had.

Great place to look for anything more than 30 years old. Not always perfect, crappy scans, no OCR, etc, but better than nothing.

I’m guessing its age is why I can’t really find anything about it. Jeez, I don’t even know what it’s worth. It has a motor and tank but “it needs wiring work”. Not too sure about the condition of the tank. But was told it all worked when it was pulled out of the shop.

Is there a way to actually open the page to read it? I get the snippet but the it just opens what looks like a banner graphic when I try to actually see it.

Nope that’s how snippet view works, you’re lucky if you even see the right ad sometimes.

If you are patient, you can send a request to Google to get them to unlock it, for research purposes.

A second way is to try to find the publication at Internet Archive, looking for the same issue # and page. I’ve only been about 20% successful trying that.

lol. Well that’s incredibly frustrating. Its like when you lock your keys in you car and you can physically see them. But can’t get em.

But like I said that 1929 left me with a little more knowledge. I think. Still can’t find squat about it. Leaves me lost what even offer the person. Or if it’s even something I’d want to mess with. Being that I can’t locate info, parts are surely going to be difficult if it has anything wrong.
