Kenmore dryer is shutting done after about 10-15 mins. It will start right back up. Pulled it apart and cleaned everything, all connections look good. Heating element will cycle on and off so temperature controls are working. Thermal fuse seems ok as it actually runs and heats. Door switch also appears ok. No burned or damaged wires. Since it will start right backup it is not the motor because it does not need to cool down. Ideas???

I don't know if it's the same model as yours but when ours did that a few years ago the fix was a new circuit board. There wasn't much else it could be since everything was contained on that.

Looks like I managed to fix it. Everything back apart and cleaned the motor really well. Lots of lint build up around the windings that I had missed before. I assume the motor wasn’t overheating because it would always start right back up but quit in about 10 min. Just ran a load of heavy wet towels on high for 65 min.
I’ll keep repair this dryer as long as they make parts for it. It’s 30 years old so it all mechanical switches. Not circuit boards or computers to fail. Motors are $130 and it takes about an hour to swap.

Yep. We kept our old one as long as possible. I can't remember what did it in, I think it was the control knob or something else specific and I found a source after we replaced the machine.
