I am a machinist and was thinking something along the same lines! Delicate work requires delicate handles to set the tone of the job.

That's funny.
I bought mine when I was an apprentice in the 80's and I have ALWAYS thought about the darned handles in the same way you do when I pull on mine..It makes you slow down and grab it with your fingertips...

Can tell you the age late 60's, top and bottom cost range 100 - 150 for both. And it could be on the high side, I

Have the machinist, and not the bottom, purchased while in the Navy.

What's ball part $$ just curious .... The newer dark brown style are worth big $$ not those.

I am being told they are between 8 and 10 years old - nowhere near that old. They are looking for about 50% of new (Canadian dollars).
