I just drug home a Kennedy 270. Can you guys tell me where to look for a date code? This thing has to be old. Any guesses?

I wasn't going to buy it because of the sellers description made it sound pretty rough and it was about 45 minutes away. But then I thought for the $20 asking price I could put scrap material in it that I save for lathe projects.

When I got there it was sitting out on the driveway with no one around. I could smell the wd-40. Then I seen it dripping all over. I thought o boy. Drawers must really be messed up. To my surprise when I tried them they were all butter smooth. WTF! Their ad say they were hard to open and close. I asked the old gentleman if he lubed it. He smiled and said he just sprayed it a little before I got there,,,lol.

No key dang it. But it does have some **** carpet drawer liners and a nice rubber mat for the top.

So I'm tickled to death with my new $20 box. It's a bit rough but I can live with it. What can you guys tell me about it. Thanks. IMG_3201.jpegImage 4.jpegImage 9.jpegImage 11.jpegImage 14.jpegImage 6.jpegImage 16.jpegIMG_3206.jpegIMG_3205.jpegImage 7.jpeg

NICE! Congratulations! A "You ****" deal!

Interesting - the word is not showing - may be there is a new rule somewhere...

Yeah. You just want to make money on it? Go somewhere else.
Well if it's any of your business.

I know where there might be a matching top box. But the guy wants a lot of money for it. I just don't want to over pay and have my combo not worth what I'll have to pay for the one box.

And what if I did want to make money on it. Is there something wrong with that?

So how about YOU go somewhere else and stay out of my threads.
