Does anyone have experience with Kennedy's benchmark series I'm looking at a 53001. It specs comparable to some of the truck brand boxes for about half the price. Thoughts reviews?

No experience with them Tim, but it sure looks like a real nice box. Seems to have all the quality things that make a good box. JMO

I have the matching 53" Benchmark Series top box that I bought to put on top of my Snap-on KR1000. They are stoutly built for sure, but the fit and finish quality (drawer alignment and gap size and consistency, visibility of spot welds etc...) is below that of the 25 year old Snap-on roll cab it sits on. The biggest shortcoming of it by far is the lack of two 2" deep drawers on the right side bank, like what was configured on the left side. The 53001 roll cab is configured the same way and it makes for inefficient tool storage for a pro with a large selection of tools.

I've noticed that too on some of their newer (90's up) boxes

I know this is an old tread, but I've been looking at the Benchmark series myself. I contacted Kennedy through the customer support page with some questions, but I didn't get a response. I figured I might get more out of someone who actually owns a box. So, Todd does the drawers have a detent style latch and do they seem strong enough to hold the drawers shut during movement without having to lock the box?
