Kennedy Chest

I found a Kennedy Chest at an Estate sale back in the summer and I am getting started with the restoration. I am looking for a Kennedy Emblem to put on it. The word Kennedy is on the upper left part of the cabinet but it was pretty worn off and only part of the name was let and of course since I have painted it is gone. I am having a hard time either finding a sticker to put on it that says Kennedy or the emblem.

Anybody else have any ideas. I have checked Ebay and the Kennedy web site, but no luck

The signature logo was painted on by the manufacturer (at least all mine were). Not replaceable.

Do you have a photo of the box? As Steinmetz said, if it's a cursive logo that was painted on there's no easy way to replace it (maybe a sticker out there somewhere, not very impressive.)

Some of the boxes use badges and emblems, which is why I ask about the picture.

Machinists boxes typically had the painted Sig, mechanics boxes had a logo. Unless current production availability may not be there...

I had a sigh painter/pinstriper buddy of mine redo the logo on my bo years ago. I need to get him to do it again. I took him like 10 min. to do. Call around and see it might not be that much.

Mine is the signature type, although only the first few letters were left. I was just thinking about getting the emblem put on it that are on some of the newer Kennedy boxes.

I will have to ask around and see if I can just find someone to paint it for me. I prefer that look, but if I could do the emblem then I would not have to bother anyone

Right now it is all in pieces and some of if is painted and some not. I will post pics whenever I finish it, right now it has to warm up a little more

Could get someone to do a reverse of the logo in vinyl so you can use it as a stencil to paint your own logo.
