Kennedy machinist box

No pics available yet as it is on a pawn shop shelf. It is a 9 drawer machinist box with about 80% of its orginal brown paint, some drawers are rusty, some have green felt intact. One drawer, a small upper drawer, will not open at all. No dents though just very well used. Pawn man wants 10 bucks for it. Also the metal cover which slides from underneath the lowest large drawer and covers the entire face is missing. For 10 bucks is it worth it still, from just hearing what yall have heard? This is an old one probably from 50s or 60s

And you did not take it home? Good felt good box...it will be gone if you do not jump on it.

Let me rephrase one drawer has felt intact two others have some felt clinging on to them ready to fall off.

Yes still worth it can still be used with out the felt just throw a covering over the bare spots to protect the paint. also I bet with a litte messaging the draws will all work a ok. Kennedy boxes are tough as nails.

Ill have to go get it then. Maybe can haggle the ol boy down as he usually folds easly to counter offers.

I'd pay $10 all day long and I've got more boxes than I need.

It will make a good user box for the small and/or flat and/or round stuff.
