So I'm new around here and just getting going with my first long term set up. I came into a two piece craftsman that is great for me.

Here is the trick, I like stuff. I came across this on my local Craigslist.

Think its worth the $100 this guy is asking? What's the story with Kennedy Boxes. I am considering this box to house my travel set of tools and would live on my trailer.

Thoughts, opinions, comments...all appreciated.

Thanks!

This link is already gone/deleted. Which Kennedy tool boxes are you talking about?

I recently picked up a Kennedy 520 machinist style box and it's solid, but I'm not sure if that's what you were looking at.

I am currently using 3 kennedy tool boxes for my car repair tools and have been very happy with them. I am not sure which model you are interested in but these are very high quality boxes and you wil have money left over to fill them with tools.

You just learned your first lesson about Kennedy toolboxes. If you ever see one for 100$
in the future, keep it to yourself and contact the seller immediately.

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
Kennedy tool boxes are highly underrated IMO, I have a VersaCart, 2 - 295's, a 297, a 2005 roller cabinets, two 285 intermediates, a 266 chest, 2 20" flat top boxes, both of their cantilever boxes, 2 of the 7 drawer machinists, 2 8 drawer machinists, 1-11 drawer machines 1 -3611 11 drawer, 3- MC28 bases, 2 MC-22 bases, the newest being 10 years old and never have had a problem with one. Stought, well made pieces.

Agreed, a 520 should run in the $25-$50 range depending on condition. New keys cost me about $10, so whether keys are included is a factor.
