I have this Kennedy box. A couple keys are missing. I've had it for quite some time. I'm looking to sell it. However I don't know where to turn to find out what it may be worth. Just looking for a fair estimate on what I should ask and maybe where to list it. I'm new to this forum. Thanks to all in advance.

Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Go there and do a search for "Kennedy" in your area tools section. See what other Kennedys are going for. If you're in a small rural market, search the nearest "large" city/market. Decide if you want to sell as a set or are willing to split up the boxes. Prices will vary widely in my experience, depending on condition, market size in your area and seller motivation . I recently sold a Kennedy 526 top box in great condition for $120. I bought it for $150 2-3 yrs ago. Seen rusty beaters for $50 to nearly new for$350.

I paid $20 each for my 526’s in great condition with keys.

I paid the same ($20 each) for both of my MC28’s, also in great condition, with keys.

Kennedy boxes are at a lot of the estate sales in this area. The prices are almost random here. A piece of **** will be way overpriced at one sale, and a pristine one will be super cheap at the next sale. Even the Versa-Carts are really common.

For years, tradesmen at Big 3 factories were given Kennedy boxes. They, usually, got to keep them when they retired.

They look in good condition and condition is everything when come to price and quick/easy sale .
You got 2 matching bottom boxes which nice and it fair bit of storage for the price point .
top box has the intermediate drawer section which a plus and pretty much doubles the value .
It in the texture black which nice .
They worth more than mentioned so far, best bet is search for similar online to get a base idea, don't go too cheap, you can easily drop price with interested party or to increase interest if needed but can't up price as easily .

I like boxes like that for special tooling/hardware, electrical consumables storage and the likes .
When you get a few matching in classic quality/tidy boxes it makes nice nostalgia/visual as well as practical storage .

The most I've ever seen a bottom box go for is $200. Top boxes typically 30 to 50. Middle boxes don't come up very often and are a real wild card. Put all three together and the value increases quite a bit.

Not knowing where you are, very hard to say.

Top boxes here go for 2-3 his quoted prices, and bottoms up to double his.

Way lowballing estimates. I've been buying Kennedy boxes for more than fifty years and haven't seen a $20 one this century.

For that stack, I'd get $250 in one day and $500 easily if I were willing to separate them.
