Picked up a set of Kennedy tool boxes and need to find a few missing parts.

Anybody know where I can get parts and hardware at a decent price? I need three of the aluminum drawer handles for the bottom, lock cylinders for the top and bottom, and the handle for the top drawer cover.

You might have luck finding another beater/donor toolbox at a yard/estate sale and rob the parts. I have a few Kennedys laying around but neither have the aluminum handles you are looking for.

I've seen other members on here order new barrel locks for toolboxes so you can get them. They might not be the exact same brand but as long as they fit, it will work. I've replaced a number of those style of locks on our service truck fleet and they have worked fine.

Good luck on your hunt for new parts.

May I ask what you paid for that setup, so I can feel bad for what I paid for my Kennedy boxes?

Yes, Kennedy has the parts. No, I won't pay their asking prices. The locks are pretty generic and I've picked up others which would work at half their list price. Your results may vary.

Great deal. Where was it?

Found it at a garage sale.

My first plan was to see if some generic locks would work.

I figure that going straight to the manufacturer for parts is usually the most expensive route. That's why I was hoping that somebody may have another source I could check out.

Thanks,
Willy

You may be surprised, Kennedy isn't too bad on replacement parts and locks.
