didnt have my phone to snap a pic but one of the local pawn shops has this drawer layout in a red box. identical handles. says kennedy on the outside and also a kennedy tag on the inside lid. the paint is not perfect, but the drawers are in decent shape. not roller, just regular slides. black felt in each drawer.
it had a price of 20 bucks. was looking for another portable box, or maybe flip and make a buck if it has any value.

thanks.

The price you can't beat. The biggest issue with machinist's boxes are the limited amount of space you have with a narrower profile.

If that's not your concern Kennedy can't be beat.

I like the 520s, I have 2 of them, one I inherited from my Dad, the other I got out of a scrap yard for 6 cents a pound. I like them for files, and other delicate or small items. Not sure about using as a portable box though, they are not really suited for that.

Buy every one you can find for $20. They're great for machinist's tool, drills, taps, reamers, chisels, files, punches, taps, dies. Put one by every machine.

I've got five and would buy another for $20.

They are OK, depending on what you want it for. I was using one for a while as a portable box, but they are a bit delicate IMHO. The tiny drawer pulls had to go, I just can't stand those little off center pulls. If you can use it, that is a pretty good deal as long as it isn't rust out and has the front cover.

I have currently have 3 Kennedy boxes and I like em. 20 bucks is a good price. I see them in good shape at auctions go for around that and sometimes a little more.
