Set of four Kennedy machinist toolboxs. All drawers in working order.
$400

I really shouldnt be spending $400 this close to Xmas......but Im probably going to just LOOK at them.![]()
Grab the tool stands if you need them.I literally just read this post, closed garage journal, opened Craigslist and seen these box's posted under the tittle "tollbox". LOL. My guess at his lack of spelling capabilities would say he might be willing to take less than 400.

Shipping to Virginia would be a *****.
It''s every penny they are worth, but being all together in one so I adds value if you need them. If there isn't an immediate need it's not a deal.
edit: here is my setup which i got for $250. I would rather have your roller and side cab than what I have, however it works for now.
:In my area, the 7-drawer roller goes for $150-$300 (depending on condition and delusions)
The side cabinet never shows up for sale, so I don't know a price. I'd guess $100 -$125
The 29" mid box can be hard to find. They go for $50-$100.
And the 26" top is common (somewhat), but still goes for $50-$125. (see comment on the roller)
So, at $400 you're somewhere around the top of average for pricing. I'm cheap, so I wouldn't go over $125 for all of it, but for a normal buyer $250-$300 would still be a good buy.
Ignore the ball bearing -vs- friction slide debate. Properly cleaned and lubed Kennedys will slide like butter, even fully loaded.
Jake, did you notice that top box is a "common" 20" 520?. ...............

Edit I see he has two decent tool stands for a decent price of 15 each you should pic up while you are there.

It's an OK deal. Depending on in person condition and what style slides they have (new vs old). Those should be 29x20 boxes. They could be a little rough, hard to tell from pics. The top chests are pretty small and nothing special IMHO. Would be more enticing if it had either the full width top chest or a mechanics top box. I'm not a huge fan of those middle and top boxes, not very efficient storage, but to each their own. The most value in that is in the bottom and side box.

Those tool stands are bitching.....Im going to be in town tomorrow (Im usually an hour away so I dont want to make a special trip). If hes available Im going to grab those stands - even if I dont use them, I have buddies that will.
I called and talked to the guy.....and at this time, he talked me out of buying them.
Hes owned them since new....according to him they are very clean and in good shape. The reason hes selling?......hes not a machinest anymore and he said these boxes do NOT work well for storing tools in due to the height of the drawers.
Since thats exactly what I want to do with them.....thats kinda no bueno.
Yeah.....the bottom set looks "mostly" useable, with only the top most 3 drawers being tiny.
.....but do I want to hassle with buying them all, dragging em home just to keep the bottoms and sell off the rest. I could grab a good rolling tool cart to augment my current setup from HF for $150sih......and probably have more effective storage for my needs.
Im currently running two Masterforce 36" top and bottom chests. I was thinking if it was a great deal Id buy, split up and have some more rolling storage.......maybe put a wood top on one and use it for a little rolling workbench, as I usually dont work on large things.
Nice stack, what is behind the door on the side box? I have the 3 drawer bottom box with snap in slides and open compartment. Sometimes I wish it was the 5 or 7 drawer, other times I think the 3 deep + the open compartment is nice.:
