Kerosene Heater on Race Deck?

Its getting cold enough to pull the kerosene heater out of mothballs. Is it okay to set it right on the Race Deck tiles or should I put something between the heater & the floor?

Depends on the heater, but most are rated that they can be placed on a combustible floor.

Some can even be placed on carpet although I wouldn't advise that.

I'd put a metal tray or pan under it so any fuel drips or spills won't stain or damage the tiles.

A picture is worth 1000 words. That heater already has an integral drip pan that gives an air gap insulation against the surface below.

It is the type that is safe to use on carpet, and would surely be safe on any sort of plastic tile too. You could always go to a restaurant supply and get a full sized sheet pan. That should fit under there.
