After years of faithful service, my EDC little "Chive" lost its mojo. The "SpeedSafe" function would only open about half way and would not lock if opened manually.

Picked up another one so I wouldn't be without my EDC.

Since Kershaw has a lifetime warranty, I figured I'd send my original back and see what happened. I guessed that they'd probably just send me a new knife - or not.

To my surprise I received my original knife back in today's mail - well, the scales are the originals with "Kershaw" worn off. The "SpeedSafe" function was repaired and they added a brand new blade (which was not needed). Quite surprised that they would bother (or that it's cost effective) to repair - rather than replace - a $30 knife.

Nice to have my knife back.

They sent me repair parts for one of my knives. It was a while ago but I think it was no big deal. I just emailed them and they offered the repair kit.

They have top-notch service. I've had a few knives repaired as well as clips and screws mailed out, and have always been taken care of!

I've had good dealings with Kershaw as well. The rubber grip on my pocket knife was getting sticky and gooey. I sent it in and they mailed me a new knife.

My kershaw blur went in the mail today for a broken blade. Can't wait to get it back as it's my everyday knife

Same here, quality customer service from Kershaw. When I needed a new pocket clip and screws a simple call was all it took.
