Each store decides independently what to carry, so it may be just a store decision to drop the product rather than a chain one.

Being over 6' tall, the Costco one seems better-suited for me. It's got the adjustable height, and goes a little taller. I'm sure that's why it has a lower weight capacity. Staying half bent over with the shorter table all the time, will kill my back.

The specs for both off their site are a lil quirky but here is a video on the original.

and the EX model

I'd really like to have one of these with the adjustable legs. Anyone know where to find one? I've looked online, and they can get pretty pricey. If anyone has a lead on these, I'd appreciate it.

I'm 6'1" and have been very happy with the non-adjustable original version. The only complaint I have is sometimes the clamps are tough to work with. The height seems just right for my projects.

I have an adjustable leg version and it's a little wobbly. A lot of reviews say it's really solid, so I'm not sure if my expectation is too much for a folding table?

Everyone still prefers the clamps on Costco model correct?

Walmart carries one with the two clamps and non adjustable legs. I see Sams has one with the two clamps and adjustable legs now.

So now the only difference is the clamps. I need two but need to know which style clamo is better.

Thanks

Happily been using my WalMart version for the last year...mostly as a table saw stand for my Dewalt saw, but also as painting station. The size and portability make it my go-to for quick jobs where I need a table. I'll likely get a 2nd one when I stumble across them again.

I think they are the same except for the adjustable legs.

Costco has different clamps.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

OK here is my review of the Sam's club & Walmart versions of the Keter workbench:

  • Sam's club version has the adjustable legs which I like and quick grip style clamps...
  • Walmart version was SUPPOSE to come with the quick grip style clamps too but it did NOT, it came as pictured w/no adjustable legs.

All in all after seeing both I like the adjustable leg version due to the extra 4" it gives even though the difference in weight handling won't really effect my daily use of this table, I cannot imagine any scenarios where I would load this table with no more than a couple of hundred pound much less 750 or 1000 pounds. And after seeing the other style hold down system I like the quick grip style clamps better although I would like to call Keter and ask if I can buy the other two hold down clamps the other version has if they are not too expensive.

Strange..

From my knowledge it was Walmart has no adjustable legs and quick clamps, Costco has adjustable legs and the other style clamps, Sams had adjustable legs and quick clamps

Obviously I am wrong are the changed since your review has the new clamps on the Walmart table.

The quick clamps are nice but they really limit what the hold, the other clamps seem like you would have more options to hold stuff down from different sides, etc. btw what are those round red things?

Strange..

From my knowledge it was Walmart has no adjustable legs and quick clamps,(1) Costco has adjustable legs and the other style clamps, Sams had adjustable legs and quick clamps

1) Your 100% correct per the walmart ad, but when it got to my house it was a different system! Also keep in mind on wm's website, they list two keter tables; one for $59 is blk/red and one for $79 is black/yel, same exact table in both ad's.

blk/red @ $59 http://www.walmart.com/ip/Keter-Folding-Work-Table-with-Accessories-Black-Red/38583599
blk/yel @ $79 http://www.walmart.com/ip/Keter-Folding-Work-Table-Black/19285488

2) The 4 round things are some type of hold down system that rides in the same track as the clamps which I found to be poorly made, in fact in this photo you see the black center square "clip" in the middle of the round "stops", it is plastic and not metal so I foresee this plastic clips breaking rendering these round "stops" useless...?

Crazy. Walmart description is off and photos shows non adjustable legs. Thanks for the photos.

I'll get the Costco version.

As for you calling to get quick clamps for the red table.... I called them once and asked that. They said the slot in the red table is different than the yellow table and the quick clamps will not fit.

Have you tried the quick clamps from the yellow in the red table?

Just to clarify; the Walmart version for $59 is not shown or suppose to be the extended leg version so that was correct its just what came with it was incorrect.

And I just hung up w/Keter @ 888-374-4262, the toggle clamps are $10 ea and I will take pics when they arrive [emoji41]

I will let you know, if you look at the side by side pics the grooves look just alike, I never tried a swap up but I will let you know in a few days for sure.

Lets compare; do they look any different?

  • Green track came with quick grip type clamps...
  • Red track came with toggle clamps...
The tracks look the exact same to me?
My toggle clamps should be in this week and I will confirm for sure.

I have the Costco one with 4 holding clamps and 2 toggle clamps. Does anyone have a pic of where they store?

Thanks, Max

Cajun, you are correct. I contacted Keter and they confirmed that only the quick clamps store inside the bench. I have an old pencil case clipped to the side carabiner to hold the toggle clips.

Got lucky today, just when I had all but given up on Costco and Sam's. Went into Sam's today and forgot all about the tables, to get some other stuff for the in-laws. And found a small stack of these, so I snagged two of them. They were $59 each, and these are the ones that have the extended legs, so I'm not complaining.

Just a suggestion; don't listen to the workers in Sam's and Costco - they've told me for weeks that these weren't coming back, but they were certainly wrong.

Did you have to call to order these? I scoured their website and can't seem to get any results with this part number.

Finally an advantage to being short! I've got the regular one and use it all the time. The downside I see to the extended leg ones is it kind of ruins the super quick setup procedure. But I'm sure you taller guys appreciate the taller unit.
