I remember this vice as a kid mounted on a table in the stripping room of the tobacco cellar of my grandfather's farm, which was about sixty years ago. Many years back it finally broke after pressing many a drive shaft U-joint apart and back together. I decided to keep it and welded it back together. I assume it is called a keystone vice, since it has that logo. I have never researched it and wonder if anyone on here has heard of them or has one. I do not have the pipe jaws that go with it.

I read the write up on Reed and you are probably right. I cannot see how the jaw plates are held in. Looks like they were cast in and are not replaceable.

Hollands made those in Erie
I have a 3"&4" machinist model but never saw a combo version before.

I had a minute to search, since I knew I saw some paper on here. Look at Demoman's post 4073 on page 204 of the vise thread.

Thanks much. That is great information to have! What a deal, $12 for the vise. I wonder when they were made or the date of this catalog? Thanks again for the info.
