Pictures of motor/bearings?
Bearings are probably cagedI was hoping to have a replacement bearing or some guidance before I open it up. I have zero degree weather coming and although loud it still works. Everybody is closed till Tuesday. I know their bearings have ball bearings and can picture them all falling out when I start this

Take it out and LOOK if you can shoot some appropriate light lube into them.
Bench check.
Could buy you a few more years.... may not... never know.
I have given many small motors a second life doing that.
Definitely worth a try, you gotta pull it anyway.

Nothing to talk to mfgr about.
And nothing to "remove"
Other than few screws to pull out entire whole unit.
You will gain absolutely nothing wasting the time to call them.
What in the world do you expect them to tell you ?
As basic as it gets.. no rocket science here.
Lube the bearings in situ.
End of story.
IF that, small chance, .... does not solve your problem, replace.
No inquiry board or consultants or outsourced engineering services needed.

Kaizen,
Here is link to info on a Beacon Morris unit- blower removal. Know you have a HydroTherm, but you'll see they come out of the same plant on Elm St in Westfield.
See yours made in 2010. How long installed in your house?

When you go back together with everything, think about cutting a removable access out of the cabinet bottom.
Did this on mine a couple years ago on initial install.Allows access for cleaning and servicing motor. My Wife doesn't even know it's there.
I think I missed that this is a hot water unit.. doesn't pull out.
I've only previously seen all electric.
My comments were all founded on that.
This is a very different animal.
Ya ?
