Hello, Garage Journal! This forum was recommended to me by a buddy who practically lives for home improvements. I am a bit less hands-on, but appreciate fine craftsmanship.
I am in Kirkland, WA (Seattle metro area). Home owner, residential. Two car garage, connected to house, roughly 26' W x 32' L .
This year's big interlocking home-improvement projects, in-order:
1. Residential outbuilding (shed): scheduled to be built end of April 2013, existing concrete pad.
2. Hot tub, adjacent to outbuilding, also on concrete pad. To be scheduled for c. May 2013. Requires electrical work, which will set the stage for Part 3:
3. Garage interior renovation and organization. Exterior (structure) solid. To be scheduled for c. May through (whenever done).
I have a good project plan outline for "Project Garage Renovation," with many (most?) steps identified, and will examine various threads prior to asking questions. Topics for me to explore will include: lighting, Race Deck and other flooring, cabinets, and much more.
Funding is in-place. I WILL end up with a professional-looking, functional garage interior by the time this concludes
Photos to follow, as the three projects progress.
Thanks, all!
