I suspect most of us have a small set of tools stuffed in a kitchen drawer. Mine has settled into a flat head and Philips head screwdriver, a 6 in one screwdriver, some small screwdrivers, a finish hammer, several utility knives, a couple pairs of slip joint pliers, a pair of lineman’s pliers, and I’m sure there is some other stuff I forgot about.

What’s in your drawer?

A 6-in-1 driver, a farmers plier, and a micro screwdriver kit. Those saved quite a few trips out to the shop.

Multi screwdriver, tape measure, a small claw hammer, battery tester, and about 100 pens that maybe ½ of them work. I also keep a small box of tools in the basement.

So far I forgot the scraper and tape measure (two because they are migratory). And any time we buy something with an included hex key I usually throw that in there.

My girlfriend keeps a set of sockets, SAE and metric combination wrenches, a wide range of drivers as well as probably 20 assorted pliers and a whole host of other stuff in her "space" in the basement. Closer than the shop, for sure. I keep a 6 in 1 screwdriver and a Leatherman in the end table beside my chair.

She was a machinist for many years. She has tons of her own tools and ain't afraid to use them.

6 in 1 screwdriver and a pair of slip goint pliers. I have a tape measure in my office next to the shipping scales. My wife keeps a small tool box in her craft room but its mostly stuff like mini pliers, needle files, spring clamps, stuff like that.

If I'm home service truck is 6 steps from the back door.

The jewelers screwdrivers, a tape, 2 6 in one screwdrivers and a razor knife.

Truth of the matter is, I am going through my tools and stuff now. Deciding what to keep in the basement tool boxes, what to keep in the garage tool boxes and am going to make up a small tool bag for little things in the house. Change is in the wind.

Laundry room is off the kitchen, Old Craftsman stack is next to the dryer, full of tools for quick tasks. Somehow, the tools migrate to a drawer in the kitchen less than 15 feet away.
It's the damndest thing...
And NOTHING in the kitchen requires a 1/2" or a 10mm socket, yet they like to hang out there with all my phillips head screwdrivers.

Is this also the "junk drawer"? Mine is...

I keep most of what has already been mentioned (or some semblance of it) at any given time.

I'll add:

electrical tape and any other tape
left over nuts/bolts/screws/nails
lighter and/or matches
string
twist ties
zip ties
flash light
small light bulbs (specifically a spare for the 300w halogen floor lamp that is the only light in the living room)
batteries
gaskets for the mason storage jars
key chains and my few spare keys (padlock with no key, one day it will appear)
binder clips, all sizes. For chip bags etc.

When it gets too full of ****. I go through it and deal with stuff as appropriate.

Oddly enough, I don't have any tools on the main floor of the house. String, tape, batteries, stuff like that, but no tools. In the basement, I have a workbench and a small cabinet (was a Kennedy hang-on side box). Even that is lightly stocked, with the usual screwdrivers, a hammer, adjustable wrench, pliers, etc. Our house is new (well, 5 years old now) so there's rarely a need for tools unless I'm doing a project. Out in the shop, I have ETKTM (Every Tool Known To Man), and I just tote in everything I need when doing a project of any size.

I have a Klein 11 in 1 screwdriver and a short (16’) Stanley tape, plus a few odds and ends no name screwdrivers the previous owner left behind. My wife has a few of those case homeowners sets from her parents she leaves in the entry hall closet to do odd jobs and hang pictures with. We live in a mid century ranch house so the garage isn’t exactly a long walk from any part of the house lol.

Cutco scissors, wera screwdriver set, several makita cordless tools, a claw hammer, and a stud finder are present and accounted for. Eternally missing is a level and tape measure. Also, I get a cupboard, not just a drawer.

I keep a 6 in 1 screwdriver and a 6 foot tape measure in the kitchen drawer. The garage is attached, so anything else that is needed isn't far away.
