Kitchen floor - new heat gun

Decided to rip up the flooring in the kitchen. It was put in sometime in the 70’s. Was gonna pay someone to put in a new floor but it’s like pulling teeth to get anybody to do anything around here. So I’m doing it myself. May just leave it bare wood. Got a new Craftsman heat gun today. Works great. Never used one before.

that's a lot of work, as far as just leaving the wood, youmay find as you get into it its not all as nice as what you hope for . it's just 1/4" fir underlay

That’s true. I’m gonna find out. I think it’s thicker than 1/4 inch

If one is good two must be better

I mostly used it to strip paint, but it really is almost twice as fast.
