Saw this at Home Depot today and thought it was a good deal. Klein High Leverage Pliers set for $49.99, then you get a #4 flat head and phillips and wire strippers for free. So that's 5 solid USA tools for $50. This is not a sale price but I still thought it was a damn good deal.

Wow, that's an amazing deal, up here those strippers alone cost me $20, hurts to lose them on a job site!

So would this work with that other coupon that's posted, $50 off $100 purchase ? So if you and a buddy wanted a set, you'd each only have 25 dollars the set ?

Yeah you'd need a few cents worth of filler to bump it over $100 but yeah that'd be a heck of a deal!

The Linesman pliers sell for $29.97 alone at HD. Strippers are $18, Cutters are $23

Too bad its not the Lineman's with the fishtape puller, those things are an absolute lifesaver.

i went to 2 of my local home depot stores and couldn't find this. looked in the electrician's tool section and also the tools section under pliers. where did you find it? i was looking to pickup some wire strippers and this would be a nice set...

I stumbled across these too. They were in a mid-aisle display stacked on the floor... not on the wall with the rest of the Klein stuff (but on the same aisle)

Try ordering it online and ship to home. I get free shipping to home on this deal.

I also checked my local store. Couldn't find any walking around, so I went to customer service and had them look it up. Computer said they had 8 in stock...but they could not find any. Their computer said the last one was sold back in 2011...so their inventory is out of whack...or they have a box of them somewhere on some shelf that is lost. I left my number to call if they find them.

I might get impatient and just order one online...

They're tough to find - they're not in the general tool section. Go to where the wiring and electrical stuff is - that is where HD keeps all their Klein stuff. These usually hang on the wall there, in a rather inconspicuous way.

Several times I've thought about getting this set. But I already have Klein Linesmen, screw drivers, and wire strippers.

This set has been out for a while now, at least this time last year. On the Home Depot website they are listed under "Electrician's starter set" they don't even have Klein listed in the web posting. One thing to do is check on line and see if your local store has any stock. At the stores around here I have only seen this set on the aisle one time.

also, I don't think those pliers are from the 2000 series, meaning they are not supposed to be as good for cutting nails
