I found what appear to be a great deal on these linesman’s pliers on Amazon at like half the price. I placed an order on them but I cant find info detailing what the PSEN portion of the model name eludes to.

And would anyone know the hardness of the metal used for these vs the Klein 2000 series?

I’ve been eyeing the Klein D2000-49 or D2000-28 diagonal cutters. I think the only difference is the size 9 vs 8 inch with the 8 costing under $2 less. Are these good solid pliers that can cut screws nails without damage to cutters? Or can the D248 series handle them just the s

Thats a good price.
NETP stands for “new england (style) tape pulling”.
SEN isnt on the tool, so it might be a packaging/language reference.
These are not designed to cut ASCR, screws, nails and hardened wire like the 2000 series.

The 49 is 9” angled. The 28 is 8” straight.
These are great diagonals, but the very tips of the cutters can be slightly brittle.
