I was at Home Depot yesterday and saw that they had the Klein glow tools there. The wire strippers and cutters were 19.97 each and the linesman was 29.97 which is the best price that I have seen on them.
My assistant and I got a good laugh seeing those on display at HD. Pretty gimmicky we think. What electrician is gonna be using pliers in the dark? We came to the conclusion that they glow in the dark to help you find themafter the helper looses them

I think Klein was trying to fill a void in the market. This style of pliers do have nice comfortable grips and seem to hold up well with everyday use. I have dropped a few tools into voids in walls and tried fishing for them. Some were retrieved some weren't. These hopefully will never be dropped or last in a dark area. They do stand out well in the dark. As for being the D2000 series they are well made and have the hardened cutting knives and should give me plenty of years of service as well as being made in the USA.
They were also the D2000 series which alone made them a good deal for the skeptics.
