I'm trying to decide on a pair of high leverage Klein pliers. After doing some research I cannot find the difference's between these 3 p/n's. All are 8" with13/16 jaw lengths, but with different pricing.

Any idea on the differences?

D2000-28
D2000-48
D228-8

Thanks for any help
David

If you compare the d2000-28 with the d228-8 on the klein website, the d2000-28 product description (below) has 7 bullets where the 228 has only 6. The top one "cuts acsr...." is not on the 228. Either an oversight or this one is made with harder metal. They both look identical other than the color of the handle.

Product Features
Cuts ACSR, screws, nails and most hardened wire.
High-leverage design. Rivet is closer to the cutting edge for 36% greater cutting power than other plier designs.
Short jaws and beveled cutting edges permit close cutting of wire.
Induction hardened cutting knives for long life.
Hot-riveted joint ensures smooth action and no handle wobble.
Plastic-dipped handles for comfort and ease of identification.
Custom, US-made tool steel.
