Klein Pliers Question on Age

I am selling off my small collection of Klein Lineman's Pliers. I ran across these two and do not know what is up with them. Could some of you guys who know enlighten me.
The first pic is a 7" pair and the middle of the logo there is a big X. See pic. It looks as though there never was a middle part of the logo. And there is no date code on the handles.
The second pic is a 9" pair and as you can see someone touched a hot wire with it! I have done this a few times myself. There is only a 50 forged on the handle. Does anyone know what that means? No other date letters.

I'll watch this with interest; as many Klein Tools as I have owned, and especially Lineman's Pliers, I have never paid that much attention, although I can dimly recall several similar to those you show. Most of my pliers are P213-9NE, but I have a few others, too.

it is difficult to make out any detail, but I am not seeing any "X" on any of these - sorry I can't be more help.

Isn't it a "Telephone Pole" instead of an "X"?

Look at the pic. It is an X. I can't figure it out.

probably an owners mark,or could be factory second

^ I would be more inclined to think perhaps a contract-made run for somebody - government/aircraft/industrial?

I do not recall seeing an X before and I have looked at many pliers, too me it looks like an owner's mark made using some kind of engraving tool. I will search my collection and look more closely, maybe I can find an owner's mark somewhere.
