Hey Everybody 
I just uploaded my review of the brand new Klein Tools IR2000A IR Thermometer. It is the replacement for the IR2000 model, and from what I can see online, the main differences would be the color scheme and the new one can withstand a 6.5' drop.
It has dual lasers that will let you see exactly how wide of an area you are scanning (vs one dot in the center), and has a 12:1 spot ratio. There is also a worklight that lights up on the front when you pull the trigger.
I have used IR thermometers for a long time, and this is definitely the nicest one I have worked with. Prior to the Klein, I have been using the cheaper "store brand" ones, but with the different features that they built into this unit, I am liking it a lot more.
