Guys I rented set like this last weekend that work perfectly. No name, nothing on dies to indicate brand. This rental cost me 30.00, I’m looking at renting at least couple more times just for running my gas line. I was looking at Northern Tool and they have Klutch brand for 99.00 But I came across another at NT that if I order it, it’s on sale for 30.00 This is strange that if I go to store it’s 99.00 but if I order it it then cost 30.00 with free shipping. What do y’all think about this set and what’s up with pricing such big difference?

I have a similar set from Harbor Freight. Worked fine for me and is handy.

For your one time job, I say go for it.

You will want a vise that is solidly secured to hold the pipe as you thread.

Will when it’s to good to be true is not just saying. Good grief, the 29.00 set is for straight threads and not taper. Story of my life, it’s too late change my order. So now wait till it arrives which they told me refuse order the place new order for right one.😩I ain’t happy shooting myself in foot

Cripes--a single Rigid die costs more than that!

This is the last pipe die I used:

Rental, so of course the power head didn't work. Fortunately, I had an Andy on hand:

Much easier than doing it myself.
