I am not sure if its just my store but there was a ton of craftsman stuff that the prices were very low on. Granted Craftsman isn't what it used to be but I think for $28 the 1/2 Impact should do me just fine for the occasional brake job or tire rotation. Anyone have different thoughts?

I picked up one of those on sale for $25 in store over a year ago. Didn't use it for 6 months until I needed it for lugs on my truck my cordless 1/2" couldn't handle (guy who did the state inspection blasted them with his impact). I found out it was DOA when I really needed it. YMMV.

$28.50 in south jersey area bad reviews on the kmart site. We'll 50/50 one person had good results with it other person said it's a one and done and had been though 3 of them.

These often drop to $25, and they're junk.

That impact is junk! Yeah I got suckered in I thought I could use it on outdoor stuff like removing the blade from my mower. I don't think it could remove a loose nut full of grease and graphite from the end of a bolt. You get what you pay for.
