Knee Pads for TNG Flooring Installation

I'll be the assistant / gopher in a hardwood flooring install three weeks from now. Need knee pads that will protect AND allow me to pop up and run around for supplies and materials as-needed without having to stop to take them off. The job is expected to take five consecutive days.

Who makes the best pads for this purpose?

I have a pair of these that I wore for three summers of gophering for my dad laying hardwood. They get a little sweaty, but they're light and easy to move in. I'd always wear them with just the bottom strap so they just flex away from your leg when you stand up. Only took them off at lunch and at the end of the day.

Plus the grey ones won't mark up light woods.

I bought 3 sets. One set for me and two sets for both my friends. (They were helping me do the insulation). For the couple DAYS we were up there we all liked them. The only bad thing I can say about them was the hardware that held them together had a habit of backing out (think screwing backing out of the holes.) I ended up buying new hardware and I think I may have used Loctite to hold the new screws in place. Haven't used them since but since I paid crazy money for 3 sets I'll NEVER sell them till I'm in a wheelchair. Some guys in the reviews are complaining of gel leaking out... I personally didn't have that problem in the sets that I bought. Maybe they'll leak down later on....

Best knee pads. Definitely toss that top strap.

when I did my floors, I bought 3 pair tried them all the first couple days and the winner was clear. Not all knees are the same, so you may need to do the same thing.

I don't own these but am intrigued by them. Since they are purpose made I'd expect them to work well. Someone here on GJ posted about JobMan making great work pants in general.
