Kneeling On Diamond RaceDeck

I'm pretty sold on the RaceDeck solution. It came to mind that the circle pattern might be easier on the knees than the diamond pattern. I seem to kneel a lot while working on the bikes, polishing wheels, etc and those diamonds look raised up enough to really dig into the 'ol kneebone. Anybody have any input on this?

My suggestion.... No floor is good for the knees. You would be better off getting one of those small kneeling pads that you can just move from spot to spot. Or.. you can be like me and just put cardboard under everything you work on, because I don't want to dirty my floor

I just put the circle track down about a month ago and finally got to work on a car last night. The circle track was nice to work on. The diamond pattern seems like it would be a little rougher on the body. I was working on the car without a creeper and was comfortable moving around.

I haven't worked on the diamond pattern, so I can't give you a comparison. Also, seems to me the diamond would be harder to move a creeper and also harder to clean.

Does LA stand for Los Angeles ? if it does, drive up to Santa Barbara and you can kneel all you want on my floor to see what the diamond pattern feels like.

I actually don't notice it anymore but I have had my Racedeck a long time now (many many years).

Don't have my entire garage covered yet, its a new garage and I am only now finishing construction now but I have the front section nearly finished now. I forget who it was a few months ago that wanted to drive up and see the floor before buying, but I finally have some tiles down if you read this also.

Another thought is contact Jorgen at Racedeck and have him send you a sample tile that will be big enough for your knees to tell how it feels.
