Knife Spring Clip

Quick question!

Does anyone know where do get a knife clip of this style, for this exact purpose (spring clip on an Opinel):

Or, a place to obtain a piece of metal to make such a clip out of (as it doesn't look that challenging). It almost looks like a paper clip, but there's no way that would be sturdy enough for said application.

Do a search for piano wire. Once you get it bent, it will stay. And it comes in all different diameters.

Some stainless TIG filler wire will do the job too.
