Knipex 08 22 185 pliers problem

Hello! I recently bought 2 pairs of Knipex needle nose combination pliers (1 pair of 08 21 185 and 1 pair of 08 22 185) and I notified that both of the pliers are very hard to open and close compared to the rest of my Knipex pliers.
I would like to know do you have the same problem with this type of pliers ?

It’s nice when pliers open smoothly, but still tightly when new,
But if they don’t, I usually just put dome oil on the joint, and open and close the pliers fully a couple hundred times while watching a TV show, or videos on youtube.
I also usually oil the joint till most black gunk seems to have gotten flushed.

Get you some WD-40 Dry from Harbor Freight

Open the pliers up all the way and spray it down in the joint. You'll be amazed at how well that works.

I noticed that the last Knipex pliers I bought (08 21 185) were much stiffer action than any previous ones. Maybe they are all that way now?

Anyway.......I get a lot of use out of those pliers. Needle nose (they call them "pointed combination pliers") that are tough enough to twist and bend things without distortion. Recommended.
