My email exchange with my cancelled order email from DrillSuck.... (reverse order, newest to oldest)
Todd,
You know, if you are going to lie in an email with your company's name on it, at least do a little homework and get your facts correct.
I ordered direct from your website, which stated you had stock on hand. Your website accepted my order. I did not order through any sales channels such as Amazon. In fact, the next day, your website showed this item was out of stock and could not be ordered. So nice try, but your lying.
Then you offer me the identical item with a different sku# for 5 times the price. This was not "suggesting" an alternate item, it's the same item, only difference is price and sku#.
Additionally, since you cancelled my order, you still are holding onto my money and didn't promptly refund it.
I'd say all around, your business practices are dubious, and as I stated previously, you are getting lots of "press" on your tactics on the largest tool forum in the country.
Congratulations.

Unfortunately we have experienced stockouts caused by a delay between our systems and sales channels such as Amazon. Now that the inventory is gone, our suppliers are not restocking the items for the foreseeable future.
