I know this is an old thread, but I recently picked up one of these to cut off about 600 nails coming through my flat roof. This thing made the job a breeze. It sliced through even the framing nails with ease. After all those cuts, the blades look brand new. Not one mark. In the past whenever I had put up a light and the screws were longer than the box, I always drilled a hole in the box to handle the screw. Now I just nip the ends of the screws to make them the correct length. No muss, no fuss, no effort. This is definitely one of the best hand tools I've purchased in a long time. I almost want to get a box of nails so while I watch tv I can cut them up just for the fun of it!
