There are many names of which Knipex is one, where the n is not silent. My last name begins with Kn and was originally pronounced that way until grandpa Americanized it as the first generation born here.

And lastly, for all my other fellow Americans, when ordering a good beer the P is not silent in Hacker Pschorr.

I much prefer Krombacher.. as pronounced in NRW, Krom-baha.

These are high on my want list but low on my priority list (like a lot of Knipex products). For now I'll just have to admire the pictures...
