Knipex deals at Lowes

i'm not sure if it's just in my area here in southeast michigan but i just thought i'd give a heads-up to all the knipex and witte fans here on the board that lowes is no longer going to be carrying the brand and all their inventory right now is on closeout at steep discounts: 25-40% off sticker price!

i decided to take the plunge today and pick up a real nice 5-piece tradesman set with 3 witte insulated-shank drivers and two knipex pliers/cutters for 40% off list price. i got a real nice pair of linesman pliers last weekend at 25% off. i slept too long on the mini bolt cutters but those are also 25% off if you can find them. there are similar discounts on other various knipex products. get em while you can! nice opportunity maybe for that fellow who posted last weekend looking to help his son build an electrician's tool kit.

Those deals and those tools have been long gone for 60 days in my area.

All new Lowes rebranded replacement tools with the remaining Knipex back at full price.

Not news and not all Lowes have the same prices nor mark downs across your region nor the country.

Yep, old news....but, the store in Sylvania OH (West of Toledo) had a LOT of Knipex stuff when I was down there 2 weeks ago. They also had the lowest prices I've seen on any of the closeout stuff...bad, bad JuJu for my wallet!
